SONAR Training Simulator
Image Soft SONAR Training Simulator is a simulator system for training the use of SONAR for detecting underwater objects, sea-floor imaging and mapping.
Image Soft SONAR Training Simulator is designed for operational training of SONAR systems. Training Simulator can be configured for training:
- Scanning Sonar: Measures to all directions around the SONAR to detect underwater environment and objects.
- Side-scan Sonar: Scans the shape of the sea bed under the SONAR. Side-scan Sonar is used to create an image (or mapping) of the sea floor.
- Multi-beam Sonar: Measures the depth of the water. Multi-beam Sonar is used for hydrographic survey measurement data acquisition.
SONAR Training Simulator for hydrographic survey consists of:
- Image Soft SONAR Simulator for operating the SONAR system
- Image Soft Radar Simulator for simulating the radar of own ship
- commercial ECDIS software and Image Soft ECDIS Simulator for navigation
- Image Soft Visual System for simulating the visual environment - the view from the bridge
